I just saw the counter on the website and it said I have 32 days left until start of show. I knew I was running behind but YIKES.

I have started putting props out onto the hillside to be wired. I will include some pictures below of some of that stuff… I am still working in the shop on printing parts and I am putting together 2 new controller boxes to help support all of the new lights this year.

Of course the rain has started so that makes getting on the roof impossible until we get another clear day or two in the meantime I can finish building the 3 additional large spinners that I have.

Next up will be the big trees… there will be two again this year. One on the normal spot and one on the far south side of the hill. The larger of the two is about 20 feet tall. The smaller is about 1/2 that maybe just a bit more with the stars on them. I will also be hanging the 3 “high density” props on the north side building… and will be working on the matrix as it has 3 sections of lights in the middle that need to be “fixed”. The north end of the property is going to be very lighted… I will likely be dimming down all of those controllers so it is not so overwhelmingly bright on that side versus the other.

So I should probably just stop talking about it all and get busy… Wish me luck!!!
